Average before tax earnings for a dentist are £45-80,000 pa. Hardly a great deal considering the skill level, responsibility, training and workload!

Good headline though, but I would prefer good journalism. Looks like I might need to look elsewhere for that

I do sincerely hope this will not go ahead. (And there’ll be trouble if it does and they try to apply this to previous graduates as well) Graduates should pay tax like everyone else but not an additional tax simply for being graduates. Especially as many graduate jobs are not paying as much as they once did.

So lets say I put MAPLE on a sign as my suggestion to the government and my pears; what am I supporting?

1) I am giving good advice to children in grade school about getting all the answers to math homework, increasing their marks.

2) I am providing a skill to the reader, simply by doing a 30 minute tutorial that includes graphing, then plugging in the exercises found in any Calculus 1 text, graphing the functions, you see how to model infrastructure.

*graphing functions by plugging them into maple is as easy as asking maple to perform addition.

3) I am pointing out that my government needs to respond in a technical/graphing language, applying these graphs to matters of information and goods distribution.

I am making the correct suggestion to my government, I am making a peaceful nonviolent suggestion to my pears and I am improving my life.

The only item that can conceivably be called a “weapon” is the crossbow. But it is commonly used for target practice and hunting. All the other “weapons” were actually tools and there was nothing illegal about them.

The guy was homeless and lived in his car – which would explain why he had these tools.

If our governments are sincere in their attempt to reduce carbon emissions, and also reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, then why have they hidden this information from us? It is known that they have had knowledge of most of these innovations and scientific discoveries for a very long time. How do you define ‘sincerity’? Or better still can you say ‘sincerity’ and ‘government’ in the one breathe? An oxymoron!
