Display Advertising
We currently have three basic display advertising slots that you can purchase.
- Leaderboard (2 slots available – top & bottom of page)
- MPU
- Skyscraper
The creative for these slots can be supplied to us in the following formats:
- GIF / Animated GIF
- JPG / JPEG
- Adobe Flash (Inc. Flash Video)
We recommend that individual creative files should, in general, be no larger that 30k. Exceptions can be made for files containing Flash Video.
For an additional cost, our in-house creative team can design your display advertising.
Sponsorship
We have some great sponsorship opportunities within BIG ON Glasgow.
Our main sponsorship slot is a dedicated button located at the top right hand side of the page. We also have another slot located at the bottom right hand side of the page.

Sponsorships deals are usually set up on a per channel basis – so, for example, you could sponsor our sport channel or our health channel and your button would appear at the top (or bottom) of each page within those channels.
If you choose to sponsor a channel which contains it’s own sub-channels (such as the sport channel which contains the football channel, rugby channel etc) then the rules are slightly different. Your button would appear on all pages within the sport channel and it’s sub channels except for sub-channels which already have a dedicated sponsor.
